We are Thanet's original Iaido club, established in 2003 under the guidance of Fujii Okimitsu Sensei

We are a small, friendly club and are always looking for new members

Our experienced instructors can grade from 9th Kyu up to 3rd Dan Black Belt

We are fully insured for bokken and iaito practice

MEET THE TEAM

I was lucky enough to be trained under the guidance of Fujii Okimitsu Sensei, who was instrumental in establishing Iaido in the UK.

After 20 years training I have a 5th Dan in Iaido

I have run martial arts clubs for over 30 years

I have studied Japanese and Chinese martial arts for 40 years.

I am graded in Tai-Chi and Kung fu and have a 4th Dan in Karate

I study Buddhist teachings in relation to the arts

I have never stopped training and have at various times taught all the above.

Every Thursday 7.30pm - 9.30 pm
